Hydrogen & Specialty Catalysts
CRI
offers a broad range of products and services to support
the ever-increasing demand for hydrogen in refining/petrochemical
and energy storage applications. Product ranges include fuel
processing catalysts, selective and total oxidation products,
as well as carbon dioxide purification catalysts to allow
for downstream consumption or sequestration. All of these
activities are designed to reduce atmospheric greenhouse gases and help us achieve sustainable development goals.
In the area of fuel processing, many companies are actively
developing advanced fuel cells for automotive, residential
and commercial applications utilizing a range of hydrocarbon
feedstocks. Fuel cells hold enormous potential to provide
clean energy at affordable prices. CRI Catalyst Company combines
its long experience in gas processing and hydrogen manufacture
to offer a range of purification, reforming, combustion and
base metal shift catalysts for fuel processing applications.

R&D is conducted utilizing CRI and Shell Resources in
Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Houston (USA), CRI KataLeuna
(Germany) and CRI Ghent (Belgium). Capabilities include a
full range of surface analytical techniques to support catalyst
design, as well as bench scale performance testing and new
product upscaling.
Catalysts are manufactured in CRI plants in Leuna (Germany)
and Ghent (Belgium). Custom manufacturing facilities are located
in The Woodlands, Texas (USA).
